Families Meeting the Challenge of Mental Illness
An event every month that begins at 1:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until December 9, 2021
Do you hear voices? If you do, you are not alone. More than 25 percent of all persons with serious mental illness experience unusual perceptions. For some, the presence of voices can be distracting. For many, they can be tormenting. Critical, harsh, and commanding voices can overwhelm a person to the point of despair, disrupting work efforts, home life, and personal peace. Finding a safe place where you can talk freely about your experiences and seek to understand and grow from them can make a positive difference.
Meeting (outdoors) in person until the end of August at the NAMI Mercer Center.
Call 609.799.8994. by 10 am the day of the meeting to confirm your attendance using your first name and phone number.
A minimum of 2 attendees will be required for the group to meet.
