Join NAMI Mercer, Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS), and Romy Toussaint of RomYoga for a relaxing outdoor hike followed by yoga at the FoHVOS Fiddler’s Creek Preserve. The preserve is comprised of meadow and forest, making for a beautiful immersion in New Jersey’s native landscape. Outdoor activity has been proven to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve mood and self-esteem, and reduce stress markers. Yoga is also beneficial for mental health, reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as improving mood and sleep.
