Empathy Network

Empathy Network

Empathy Network is a support group for individuals living with depression and similar challenges. Group members will have the opportunity to share their experiences and gain support from other participants, as well as learn new coping skills and strategies to foster wellbeing.

Empathy Network meets weekly

Meetings for Empathy Network (hosted by NAMI Mercer)  are being held in-person at the NAMI Mercer Center every Tuesday. Registration is required prior to first attendance.

  • Meetings are confidential and offered at no charge
  • Meetings are open to any person struggling with anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, or other emotional, behavioral or mental health issues
  • A person does NOT need to have a formal diagnosis to benefit from attendance
  • Facilitator Bette Sorrento will lead the group in a supportive, safe, and confidential setting.
  • While the dialog is facilitated, the content is driven by the needs of those in attendance;
  • Participants work together, sharing experiences and resources
