The value of peer support
Peer support encompasses a range of activities and interactions that foster connection and inspire hope. Peer relationships are grounded in a shared understanding of what it is like to cope with specific challenges, offering a level of acceptance and validation that can be more difficult to access elsewhere. Peers know your world and can provide both valuable information and emotional support.
