Night Out with NAMI
This annual benefit gala, which NAMI Mercer has been hosting since 2001, is held each November. Over the years, our supporters have enjoyed buffet/sit-down dinners along with theater productions, concerts, themed dances, and silent/live auctions.
NAMIWalks Mercer County
NAMI Mercer has hosted a yearly walk as part of NAMI National NAMIWalks program since 2007. The spring event is NAMI Mercer’s largest community outreach activity, our most powerful anti-stigma event, and our organization’s greatest fundraiser.
Harvest of Hope Wellness Conference
NAMI Mercer brings the community together during Mental Illness Awareness Week in October for a day of education, hope, and camaraderie. The event features a keynote speaker, morning and afternoon wellness workshops, a communal lunch, and an inspiring closing activity. Learn more

Groups meet four times a month for conversation, exchange of ideas, and mutual support. Learn more
NextGen Initiatives
NAMI Mercer facilitates interactive presentations for students in middle school and high school, their families, and school personnel to raise awareness about mental health conditions and the importance of early intervention. Learn more
Family-to-Family/Family and Friends
Trained peers lead an 8-session course to help families and friends of adults living with mental illness to develop coping strategies and become effective advocates. Family and Friends is a an abridged version for more immediate assistance.

Those who have unusual sensory perceptions are in a supportive environment where they can openly share and grow from their experiences. Learn more
Resiliency-Building/Anti-Stigma Programs
Trained volunteers share their personal stories to change attitudes and shatter stereotypes about mental illness. Learn more
Just Friends Social Support Group
Just Friends offers participants opportunities to engage in fun activities that reduce social isolation and enhance interpersonal skills. Learn more
Affinity Support Groups
Peer led groups for those coping with specific mental health challenges/issues. Includes groups like Empathy Network (for those with depression), Mending Mindsets (for those with anxiety), Weight ≠ Worth (for those with an unhealthy preoccupation with food or body image) and more ... provides encouragement and support to live a better life. Just Parents Support Network
This group provides parents with a dependable and caring network, valuable peer support, and education to improve outcomes for our children’s mental wellbeing. Learn more
