DESCRIPTION:Join NAMI Mercer\, Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS)\, and Romy Toussaint of RomYoga for a relaxing outdoor hike followed by yoga at the FoHVOS Fiddler’s Creek Preserve. The preserve is comprised of meadow and forest\, making for a beautiful immersion in New Jersey’s native landscape. Outdoor activity has been proven to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression\, improve mood and self-esteem\, and reduce stress markers. Yoga is also beneficial for mental health\, reducing symptoms of anxiety\, depression\, and PTSD\, as well as improving mood and sleep. We’re excited to welcome you to this installment in NAMI Mercer’s Onward Outdoors series and the FoHVOS Force of Nature hike series.
