Exhibit.Volunteer Recognition

Our volunteers work in many places and many ways. We value every single one!

Among special volunteers we recognize are:

Linda McGrath, long-term member and former board member, whose devotion to teaching and training teachers for NAMI’s Family-to-Family course, won her a place in the NAMI National Hall of Fame in 2008.

Carol Kivler, NAMI Mercer board member, long-term supporter, and In Our Own Voice presenter, was honored in 2008 with the Garden State Seeds of Hope Award, given by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, for her accomplishments in the field of help and encouragement to people affected by mental illness.

Dr. William Hayes, president of the NAMI Mercer Board, received a 2008 NAMI National Exemplary Psychiatrist Award. He is one of 30 psychiatrists from 21 states “who are stars within the nation’s mental healthcare system,” said NAMI National Executive Director Michael J. Fitzpatrick.

Bill and Phyllis Wilmot – Winners of Community Mental Health Advocate Award on 4/30/09.

Laurie Russell – Current NAMI Mercer Volunteer of the Quarter.
